The Code describes conduct, not purity. It leaves room for error, repair, disagreement, and return.
We reject violence, threats, intimidation, humiliation, and manipulation that removes another person’s meaningful freedom to choose.
Every person remains their own. Association does not require obedience, sameness, or surrender of conscience.
Enterprise can be ambitious and profitable. It should also leave people, communities, and the future with more capability than before.
No fraud, corruption, hidden exploitation, or deliberate transfer of serious harm to those with less power.
Each Whale chooses a meaningful portion of time, knowledge, or resources to contribute without expectation of profit.
We judge evidenced conduct, invite response, and prefer accountability and repair over permanent moral condemnation.

Ask Whale is intended to make the group’s practical experience available. It should cite whose experience informs an answer, distinguish evidence from interpretation, protect private knowledge, and say when it does not know.
